Welcome to the StormLaw Blogosphere

The StormLaw Blogosphere (the Sphere,) is a partnership between the faculty, administration and students of St. John's University School of Law, united to communicate the values and philosophy of our Law School. To the Right are a list of links to the blogs that make up the Sphere. If you or your group has a blog that you feel should be part of the Sphere (or if you want one,) please contact Ambassador.Vincent@gmail.com.

MOOT COURT:

The Moot Court Honor Society is St. John's only honors program that teaches its members to hone their written and oral advocacy skills, which are essential aspects of successful law practice. Moot Court members brief and argue cutting-edge legal issues and have opportunities to compete in interscholastic tournaments.

AMBASSADOR VINCENT:

Ambassador Vincent is the blog of the Student Ambassador program at St. John's University School of Law. The Student Ambassador program serves as a liason between future STJ Law students and the Office of Admissions. The goal of this blog is to introduce you to the STJ Law School community and facillitate the admissions process.

UTOPIA PKWY 1L:

Five St. Johns first-year students blog about the experience of starting out at law school. The students represent a diverse cross-section of the student-body. By showcasing our one-L program we hope to give potential students an inside-look into our school and help them come to law school ready to "hit the ground running."

DISPUTE RESOLUTION SOCIETY:

The St. John's University Dispute Resolution Society ("DRS") is a student organzation that formed in 2007 to meet the demand for practical education in the constantly developing field of dispute resolution. With such a small percentage of cases going through a full trial, the need for understanding and experience in alternative dispute resolution will be an integral part of any lawyer's career. The Society specializes in negotiations, mediation and arbitration through events, seminars, intra-school competitions held at St. John's and external competitions locally, nationally and internationally.
